Gryf Medialny (Media Griffin) 2019

Prestigious award for business leaders and entrepreneurs operating in Pomerania, awarded as part of the competition Pomeranian Economic Griffin Award. The jury honored Lubiana with a special award for the vision and consistency in creating and developing an ecosystem of cooperation between new technologies and business.

Design dla Konesera (Design for Connoisseur) 2018

The plebiscite organized by “Dobre Wnętrze” magazine to promote excellent design, aesthetic and practical solutions that reference the best traditions of Polish and global design, use modern technologies and highest quality materials. Stone Age Collection by Lubiana SA was awarded for attractive and trend-oriented design of the Polish brand with a great history.

Top Product – Pomeranian 2018

The competition has been organized by “Dziennik Bałtycki” since 2003. Products and services from Pomerania are evaluated by a jury composed of representatives of business, trade organizations, the Marshal’s Office and the editorial staff of “Dziennik Bałtycki”. Lubiana SA was awarded for the Daisy shape in the Industry category.

Pomeranian Employer of the Year 2018

The honorable title is awarded to companies which are friendly to their employees and environment, and having a positive effect on the economic development of Poland and the region. As a part of a competition to promote good corporate social responsibility practices, Lubiana received a special award in the category: for raising employee qualifications.

Competitiveness Leader 2017

The 5^th Polish Congress of Entrepreneurship organized by the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development was held under the theme “The State of XXI century. The Knowledge-Based Economy.” During the ceremony at which the awards for Polish companies were presented, Lubiana SA received a distinction in the 2017 Leader of Competitiveness category.

Pomeranian Employer of the Year 2016

The competition’s idea is to select the leading companies among the Pomeranian enterprises that not only achieve good economic results, but also create appropriate working conditions and are able to recognize the potential of their employees. Lubiana SA was awarded in the Large Enterprises category.

Global Company 2016

Awarded by the European Business Institute to companies that achieved revenues exceeding 4 million PLN from exports to more than three countries in 2013-2014. The data was provided by InfoCredit, a company that collects information on exporters from customs offices.

2013 Symbol of Polish Porcelain

Award granted by “Monitor Gospodarczy” for consistent implementation of the strategy assuming maintaining the position of European leader in the porcelain tableware industry, and activities undertaken in order to achieve that: investing in state-of-the-art technologies, enriching the offer, improving working conditions, organization, betting on replacement investments.

EuroGastro 2012

The most important trade event in Poland dedicated to HoReCa industry, the idea of which is to present a full and diverse range of products, services and solutions for the food industry. Lubiana SA was awarded a prize for the best product in the Catering Equipment and Accessories category: Celebration Hotel porcelain.

HoReCa GastroFood 2011

International Trade Fair for Hotel and Catering Equipment bringing the three industries: hotels, catering and wine – together. A product by Lubiana SA – hotel and restaurant collection called Celebration Hotel – received an honorable award in the category of catering equipment and appliances.

Innovation and product quality

We create modern porcelain of the highest quality, thanks to the use of new generation machines and equipment (including: glazing machines, isostatic presses, firing furnaces, pressure casting equipment, cleaners and digital machine tools).

In the implementation center, we use pioneering solutions and technologies, as well as information systems to support the work of designers. We also have ongoing collaborations with design studios in Germany and Italy.

Lubiana is a brand repeatedly appreciated not only for original design, high quality and innovation, but also for the ecological production process and sustainable development at the company. Our strategy addresses 4 areas: environmental protection, energy management, product manufacturing and social responsibility.

SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY

Products at Lubiana are made 100% in Poland, from natural raw materials which are safe for health. We invest in technologies to make the production cycle eco-friendly: reducing CO₂ emissions, water consumption and waste. We use heat recycling, eco-boilers and photovoltaic cells. In the process of disposal, porcelain has a neutral impact on the environment, and thanks to its longevity, it serves us for years.

CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

We have been supporting the local community for years – including by donating products to charity auctions. We also support young talent and promote fair play by funding the clothing kits of regional sports teams. We organize recreational and sporting events for employees and their families, as well as participate in school open days. We create sustainable and safe employment conditions.

A brand with tradition

The company's history dates back to the 1960s. and is full of momentous events. We are proud to have come this long way: from a single-facility enterprise to a joint-stock company co-founding the Polish Porcelain Group, and we are still growing.

1969

Foundation of the Lubiana Table Porcelain Factory in Łubiana

Transformation of a state enterprise into a joint stock company wholly owned by the State Treasury

Inclusion of the company by the State Treasury in the national investment funds program
