Lubiana Tableware Company SA, a leading porcelain manufacturer in Poland, has long been guided by the principles of responsible business. Implementing ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) practices is an integral part of our development strategy. It encompasses environmental protection, care for people, and transparent management, contributing to the company’s long-term, sustainable development.

E – Environment

Environmental responsibility is the foundation of our production operations. At Lubiana, we monitor and optimize energy, water, and raw material consumption, as well as CO2 emissions. In 2024, we introduced detailed environmental indicators that allow us to measure the impact of production on the environment and make decisions that support sustainable development.

Environmental initiatives include:

implementing energy-saving technologies in the porcelain production process,
selective waste collection (segregation) and material recycling,
minimizing water and raw material consumption in production processes,
environmental education for employees and promoting environmental awareness among business partners.

The actions taken allow us to systematically reduce the negative impact of production on the environment, preparing the company for future regulatory requirements and growing customer expectations regarding sustainable production.

S – Society

ESG 2024 Report

In 2024, Zakłady Porcelany Stołowej Lubiana S.A. published its first ESG report, prepared in accordance with the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS). The report provides a comprehensive and detailed source of information on our activities in each ESG area: environment, society, and corporate governance.

The report includes:

detailed environmental, social, and corporate governance indicators,
a description of initiatives and projects implemented in each area,
data to measure the effectiveness of our activities and progress towards achieving sustainable development goals,
examples of best practices implemented in daily operations.

The ESG 2024 Report allows stakeholders to fully assess our actions and level of responsibility, while also providing a starting point for further development. It enables us to set further goals, systematically increase our positive impact on the environment and people, raise management standards, and further refine ESG practices at Lubian.
